Custos Cavum (Guardian of the Hole)

material : metallic material, resin, motor, gear, custom CPU board, LED Once upon a time, there were two worlds. They were connected to each other through a number of small holes, as if the worlds were breathing through these holes. However, the holes had a tendency to close up, so there were guardians next to each one to keep them open. The guardians were called “Custos Cavum.” They took the form of seals and had large front teeth, which they used to gnaw the holes to prevent them from closing up.
Whenever a Custos Cavum felt the generation of a new hole somewhere, it fell into a deep sleep. From the body of the quietly sleeping Custos Cavum grew winged spores called “Unicuses.” These spores took flight and each flew to a new hole, where it gave rise to a new Custos Cavum.
As time went on, the people of each world gradually forgot about the other. The guardians lost their power and died, one after another. When the last Custos Cavum died, the last hole closed, separating the two worlds completely. The existence of the other world was entirely erased from people’s memories.

Last night, I saw Unicuses start to grow from the last bone of a Custos Cavum in my small garden. According to an old story, Unicuses will grow whenever the holes to the other world are open again.

VIVA!
Už jsem si začínala myslet, že neexistuje. A existuje.

Konečně romantický seriál o lásce, kde:


- nezavírám půlku filmu oči, protože je mi trapně
- nechci půlku filmu hlavní hrdinku zabít, protože je to neskutečná blbka
- hlavní hrdina a hlavní hrdinka jsou si rovni
- hrdinka se nezamiluje na začátku filmu do chlapa, který se k ní chová nejhůř ze všech včetně komparzu a pomocného štábu a netráví zbytek série jeho předěláváním na člověka, případně jeho omlouváním, zatímco ignoruje chlapa, který je upřímný, hodný, pracovitý, pozorný a má ji rád
- omezili množství seriálových klišé na nezbytné minimum a ještě z poloviny vybruslili celkem s vtipem
- nenastavili nepostupující děj v polovině náhlým vstupem třetí osoby, která všechno zvrátí, aby si pak před koncem vzpomněla, že se musí vrátit tam odkud přišla

- nemusím nastudovat korejskou historii a kulturní zvyky, abych pochopila některá hnutí mysli postav
- míra hrdosti postav je i pro evropana úměrná a srozumitelná (ne pro všechny asijské filmy to platí)
- počet epizod je tak akorát, aby si člověk dostatečně užil všechen cukrkandl, děj postupoval a autor se trapně neopakoval a necucal si z malíčku, čím to ještě nastavit
- neudělali z konce doják
- a přesto to byl happy end

Jako jo, nějaké ty mouchy by se tam našly, ale co byste nechtěli.

2) Talk to your family about what you do and expect them to cheer you on. 

3) Base the sucess of your entire career on one project 

4) Stick with what you know. 

5) Undervalue your expertise. 

6) Let money dictate what you do. 

7) Bow to societal pressures. 

8) Only do work that your family will love. 

9) Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investor asks. 

10) Set unachievable / overhelming goals to be accomplished by tomorrow.
